Dev ops developer

The FinWorks system deploys several instances of a SaaS application in the financial services industry, mainly investments and long term insurance. We are a company that has built a system over more than 18 years.

This is a full time position that involves management of several server environments, automation of builds and deployments, system security, networking and some operational database administration. Systems run on a linux operating system on self managed server or virtual machine environments, though a combination of container based virtualisation and docker images.

At least an Honours degree (or 4 year equivalent) with focus on software.

You will work with:

• Linux (Ubuntu)
• Docker
• Nginx
• GemStone (DB system administration)
• Scripting in Python, Ruby, bash
• AWS and dedicated hosting
• Git
• Continuous integration (Jenkins)
• Configuration management (Chef)
• Security (eg. firewalls, network)

We have a strong focus on automation.
