Adviser Fee Options

There are options on the Adviser which can be set to automatically trigger further actions when the Adviser receives fees

Initial Adviser Fees

Initial fees can:

  • remain in the fee portfolio as cash, until otherwise instructed, or
  • if selected, can be switched to a Money Market Account, in which case the relevant Money Market must be chosenĀ from the drop-down list. The system will automatically generate a switch instruction to the selected Money Market Account when Initial Fees are received.

Ongoing Adviser Fees

Ongoing fees are distributed as units to the Fee control account and added to the adviser fee portfolio as cash

Ongoing fees will:

  • remain in the fee portfolio as cash, until otherwise instructed
  • a switch instruction to cash will be loaded on the fee control account after each fee run for units received from the fee run

Actual Pay out of Fees

  • If ‘Pay out adviser fee’ is not selected on an Adviser, cash will remain in the adviser fee portfolio, until otherwise instructed
  • If ‘Pay out adviser fee’ is selected on an Adviser, all holdings in the fee portfolio will be included in the withdrawal that will be created when the ‘Advisers to Pay Out‘ report is run. If this option is selected an active bank account must be loaded on the relevant Brokerage.
