Each instrument has its own default fee structures. The default fee structures are copied to each month’s fee calculation.

Note: Changing a default fee only impacts the next months fee import. Previous month’s fee structures are not impacted. If you import monthly files and realise that the fee structure is not correct, you will need to change both that month’s fee structure and the defaults for future month’s.

These are the input defaults can be accessed on the instrument details by clicking on the “Fees” button:

• Service fee – the fee charged by the instrument (or fund)
• CIS fee
• Minimum CIS fee – this can be set on the instrument OR calculated between classes
• Fixed CIS fee – usually charged per extra class
• Management fee
• ASISA fee
• Performance fee sharing rate – % deducted from the Fund manager’s fee
