1. Search for the instrument
It is always a good idea to first search for the instrument to see what current instruments are listed and to make sure you are not creating a duplicate instrument.
NOTE: Platforms and companies use different names for the same instrument. They use abbreviations e.g INC for Income etc. The instrument code should be unique.

2.Load a new Instrument Provider (if needed)
3.Add a new Collective Investment Scheme (if needed)
4.Add a new Instrument Class (if needed)
5.Add the new Instrument
Select the relevant Collective Investment Scheme

Complete the unique Fund code, select the type and fund class from the drop down lists and save

After saving, screen questions will appear to allow you to select the products the instrument must be available on, click OK when you are satisfied with your selection

The next screen question will ask about the availability of the instrument on all employers

The next screen question will ask about the availability of the instrument on all advisers and brokerages

Changing the screen question options can also be done on the instrument detail at the bottom

On the instrument detail view, there is a tick box to Include Fund Class In Fund Name

If checked, the fund class will be added at the end of the instrument name.
