Combine Advisor Fee Portfolios on brokerage

The system can be setup to use one fee portfolio, per custodian, on the brokerage for the fees of all advisors on the brokerage, instead of a separate fee portfolio per advisor, per custodian.

Fee transactions keep track of the recipient of the fees and the fee report on the advisor can be used to determine the fees due to a specific advisor.

To switch this functionality on, go to System->Configuration, under the Defaults section and untick ‘Should split advisor fee portfolios?’. Current fee portfolios on the brokerage will be left intact and new fee portfolios will be created with the next fee run for the combined fee portfolios.
