Default buy bank account on Instrument account

When a new instrument account is being created, for instance when historical transactions are imported, the buy bank account on the instrument account will be set as the first active bank account on the Dealer in the instrument account currency.

Should there be more than one bank account on the dealer and the first active bank account must not be used when instrument accounts are created during the import of historical transactions, a default buy bank account can be set on the dealer. The system will then use this default buy bank account as the Buy payment bank account on the instrument accounts that are created.

Where no default buy bank account is set on the dealer, or where the currency of the instrument account that will be created is in another currency, the system will still use the first active bank account on the dealer that is in the correct currency.
