Full time software developer

The contents of the finworks.biz web site will show that the domain is the financial services industry, mainly investments and long term insurance. We are a small company that has built a system over more than 16 years.

We believe that at least an Honours degree (or 4 year equivalent) with focus on software engineering is the appropriate qualification for this position. The system is web based and fully object oriented.

You will work in:

• Smalltalk (Pharo)
• GemStone (Object database, Smalltalk based)
• Web front end (HTML, Javascript)
• Linux (Ubuntu)
