The following new features are included in this week’s release:
Step Sliding Scale
There was already an option available on the system before, to add a sliding scale (System -> Sliding Scales), but this was specifically for a progressive type of scale.
Now, also implemented the option to select the “Stepped” type, on adding a new sliding scale.
On the fee rate fields where the rate can be setup as either a percentage or sliding scale, the available sliding scales will then be available from the drop-down list.
Dividend withholdings tax: SARS data file
Implemented the generation of the SARS form for the Dividend Withholdings Tax (DWT) on Distributions, according to the prescribed grouping of the dividend categories and totals.
Please note that this is a beta version of the file in this release as we still await feedback from SARS .

Improvements on the Business Development Manager Report
This report is used by clients who use group administration and have setup advisers to be linked to Business Development Managers (Reports > Employer New Business Report)
The “Business Development Manager” (BDM) role now added to the person/company entity, so that the email address of the BDM can be entered on the linked entity’s contact details.
Filter added to generate the report for either “new business” and “quotes” or both.
Functionality was added to email BDM reports, containing an attachment with the separate tables for new business and quote data for the selected period.
