SARS BRS Code 3915 – Retirement Fund Lump Sum Benefit

Lump sum payments are applicable to Retirement annuity funds and Preservation funds.

The PAYE tax directive number on once off withdrawals is a required field on the SARS PAYE file.

For the 2022/2023 SARS PAYE file some directive numbers may not be included. To identify such instances a report has been created under the Instructions main menu as ‘Lump Sum withdrawals’

Use the (1) filter to identify relevant products and (2) download the file to identify once off withdrawals in the 2022/2023 tax year that need to be updated.
