Unit, amount, and price correlation tolerance
When confirming a bulk dealer instruction, in some instances a validation will appear that says ‘price and units do not correlate with amount’. This is because we round the underlying instructions and there could be numerous instructions in the bulk dealer instruction. The sum of the underlying instructions might not correlate with the bulk instruction, and this is the reason for the validation message.
We built the functionality to increase the tolerance on this validation message. It can be found under System >- Configuration.
– If you put the setting at 10%, a tolerance of 0.0001 will be allowed
– If you put the setting at 100%, a tolerance of 0.0002 will be allowed
– If you put the setting at 200%, a tolerance of 0.0003 will be allowed
