Brokerage does own investor compliance
- There are instances where the Brokerage ensures/takes responsibility for the compliance of their investors. If the Brokerage does it’s own compliance, it can be activated on the Brokerage
- Brokerage does own investor compliance forms part of the Compliance Requirements, for more information refer to Compliance Requirements
Step 1 – Brokerage

- The declaration expiry date can be completed once the declaration is ticked.

- Brokerage’s Declaration Expiry date can be monitored with the Compliance Declaration Expiry Report (Reports->Compliance Declaration Expiry)
- If the Brokerage has Declaration – does own Compliance set as true, Advisers linked to the Brokerage will have ‘Compliance by declaration’ on their Adviser Card on Investors, which can then be activated.
Step 2 – Investor Account

- If Compliance by declaration is ticked on the adviser card, the Account owner Compliance status will change to Declaration and the Compliance requirements as set out under Investor Compliance, will not be applicable.
