The Account owner Card of an investor invested in a Product where Compliance verification is activated, will display the investors Compliance status.

If the investors compliance status is not adequate, a warning will appear on all instructions created for the investor and the instruction cannot be authorised before the investor is not compliant.

If compliance verification is activated, it also becomes mandatory to complete the source of funds on investment – or transfer In instructions before the instruction can be submitted.

When the necessary compliance documentation has been received, it can be indicated on the Account owner, to activate compliance.

Select the relevant compliance document type and complete the expiry date

The moment the holdings allocated in the investor account exceeds the ‘Original documents required threshold’ as set on the Product (in this instance 100 000 000 USD), the investor’s compliance status will change to ‘Needs Originals’

The Compliance Inadequate Report (Reports->Compliance Inadequate) can be used to determine which entities are non-compliant.

The Compliance Expiry Report (Report->Compliance Expiry) can be used to determine which entities are nearing their Compliance Expiry date (as set on the Account Owner) for followup.

If the brokerage of the adviser on the investor account does it’s own compliance, the compliance requirements as set out above would not be applicable.
