Enable Excel Legacy Text Import Wizard

  • To activate the Text Import Wizard in modern versions of Excel, follow the following steps:
  • Open Excel and click the File tab, and then click Options -> Data
  • Under Show legacy data import wizards, select From Text (Legacy), and click OK.
  • Enable Excel Legacy Text Import Wizard
  • To open a .csv file open Excel first and then navigate to Get Data -> Legacy Wizards -> Trom Text (Legacy)
  • Enable Excel Legacy Text Import Wizard
  • Follow the process on Follow the process on How to save csv files in the correct format
