Model rebalance on a model client account with instructions in progress

Bulk rebalances on model client accounts should not be prevented by in-progress instructions, as many rebalances would not take place due to instructions which are in progress on a model client account. Doing another rebalance on a model after in-progress instructions have completed will create switches for already-balanced accounts for tiny amounts, which is not desirable.

Doing a rebalance on a model client account where an amount withdrawal is in progress can result in not enough cash being available to payout the desired withdrawal amount.

On a bulk model rebalance, a rebalance switch instruction will be created on model client accounts with in-progress instructions with status ‘New’.

On the completion of other instructions in the model client account, the status of the Bulk rebalance switch will change to submitted and the rebalance can be executed as would have been the case with model client accounts where instructions were not in progress when the bulk rebalance has been created.

NOTE: When a bulk rebalance on a model is created, the status on the bulk rebalance switch instructions on the model client account is also created with status ‘submitted’ and needs to be authorised under Instructions->Submitted.
