Realised and Unrealised Gains
- Realised and Unrealised Gains report can be generated per Supplier Instrument Account
- To navigate to the Supplier Instrument Account refer to Supplier Accounts And Instrument Accounts
- To run the report navigate from the Supplier Instrument Account card -> More Actions (1) -> Gains (2)
- The Average price on a date can be set, refer to the section below: Set the Average price and Average price date

Set the Average price and Average price date
- The Average price is calculated since inception of the instrument.
- We provide the option to manually set Average price on a date.
- Navigate to View Details (3) from the Supplier Instrument Account card as shown above.
- When the Override average price for gains report is selected the Average price and Average Price date option will become available.
- Capture the values and save.

Realised and Unrealised Gains Fields
- Units includes:
- Buy & Sell
- Distribution
- Unit Transfer In & Out
- Unit Interest
- Price -> Price for the transaction
- Total Units = Previous trade unit balance + new units (refer to Units includes)
- Cost of Units sold = Units x Previous Average price
- Cost = Previous Cost + Cost of Units sold + Purchases
- Average price = (Previous Average price x Previous Total Units + Cost of Units sold + Cost of Purchases) / Total Units
- Proceeds = Deal Net amount (Sells)
- Cost of Sale = Absolute value of Units x Previous Average price
- Realised Gains = Proceeds – Cost of Sale
- Purchases = Deal Net amount
- Unrealised Gains = (Price – Average price) x Total Units
