See Setting up requirement types
On a Compliance requirement ‘Applies at” will determine if the Requirement applies on an instruction level, account level or Entity (Person, Company) level.
Under ‘Applies at entity level’, where the requirement applies can be set with combinations of:
Three condition clauses (and/or) are available to provide more flexibility as to when a requirement needs to be applied.

In the screenshot above the requirement will apply to any Company-account Owner OR Company type regardless if the company type is an account owner. The requirement type will therefore also apply to a Company Trust, if the Company Trust is an account owner.

In the screenshot above the requirement will apply to any Company type ticked, which is ALSO an Company-account Owner. The requirement type will therefore not apply to a Company Trust, if the Company Trust is an account owner.
The same principal applies to the Person Roles and -Types and Person/company and relationships condition clauses.
Under ‘Relationships’ there is a drop down list ‘Applies to relationship owner’ which can either have ‘All’, ‘Person’, or ‘Company’.

If set to ‘All’ then the relationship will apply when the owner is Person or Company.
If set to ‘Person’ then the relationship will apply when the owner is Person.
If set to ‘Company’ then the relationship will apply when the owner is Company.
This option makes it possible to distinguish whether a requirement must apply, for instance, to a Director, which could be either a person entity or a company entity.
